Lionbridge Announces Appointment of Former Digitas Executive as SVP and General Manager
Seasoned Executive to Lead Global Delivery of Lionbridge’s Market-Leading Globalization Services and Global Marketing Operations (GMO) Offerings
WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Lionbridge (Nasdaq: LIOX), a leading provider of globalization solutions, today announced that Richard Tobin has joined Lionbridge as Senior Vice President and General Manager. As a seasoned operations leader, Tobin will be responsible for leading the delivery of Lionbridge’s market-leading language services business and rapidly-growing global marketing operations offerings.
Tobin brings more than 15 years of experience in managing, operating and growing successful digital marketing and services companies. Most recently he was SVP of Operations for DigitasLBi, a global marketing and technology agency and member of the Publicis Groupe. At DigitasLBi, Tobin held several roles in operations and finance and was responsible for driving profitable growth across the Company’s operations in North America and offshore centers in South America and Asia. Most recently he was appointed to lead Digitas’ North America Operations with more than 2,500 employees representing approximately $500 million in revenue across all lines of the Company’s business.
