September 18, 2013

Learning Lab to Focus on Mitigating Enterprise Risk Using Big Data and Customer Interaction Analytics

ATLANTA and ROSELAND, N.J., Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Nexidia, the leading provider of customer interaction analytics solutions for business transformation, and The Telecommunications Risk Management Association (TRMA), a nonprofit organization serving the telecommunications industry, today announced that Nexidia will present at the TRMA Fall Conference, scheduled for September 24-25, 2013 in Miami, Florida.

Cathy Benigno, vice president of PayTV at Equifax Communications and co-chair of the TRMA’s Education Committee, will moderate the Learning Lab entitled “Big Data: The Revolution That Will Transform Our Business,” featuring Ryan Pellet, Nexidia’s senior vice president of strategic services. The session will be held on September 24th from 8:00-11:30am in the Metropolis/main ball room at the Kimpton Epic Hotel.

“The use of data in understanding our rapidly evolving industry is essential,” said Benigno. “Based on requests from our membership, attendees will hear why the world’s leading telecommunications providers are turning to big data to craft new ways of managing risk, collectibles and compliance. Nexidia will help our membership to understand advancements in interaction data collection and use.”

Through real-world examples and pragmatic viewpoints, the Learning Lab will discuss how telecommunications companies can leverage and monetize their unstructured customer interaction data– in the form of phone, online, and social media interactions, among others– to significantly mitigate enterprise risk.

“TRMA does a thorough job of joining the telecommunications industry’s finest in sharing best practices around risk mitigation,” said Pellet. “I’m enthusiastic about sharing how Nexidia Interaction Analytics is able to use the data assets being produced by the contact center to overcome risk and produce real value for the industry.”

Hosted by the TRMA, The Fall Conference enables an exchange of ideas between the Telecommunication Industry’s top US and Canadian based providers, including AT&T, Bell, Cable One, Comcast, DirecTV, DISH Network, Rogers Communications, Sprint, T-Mobile, Telus, Time Warner Cable, US Cellular, and Verizon.
