Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) September 18, 2013

KEY by JOPEN wins in the Creativity 43rd Print and Packaging Awards. The annual competition is held by Creativity International and garnered over 1,100 entries from around the globe. The packaging design for JOPEN’s KEY range was selected as an example of outstanding creative design, earning it a Silver Award.

Susan Colvin, President and CEO of JOPEN, says, “It’s such an honor for KEY to be recognized by the international design community for our packaging. On behalf of the entire KEY by JOPEN team, we are very proud.”

The Creativity International Awards are one of the longest running, independent advertising and graphic design competitions. Open to both students and professionals from around the world, Creativity International Awards are judged by a rotating panel of advertising and design professionals who volunteer their time and knowledge without personal agenda or bias.

Winning entries are selected for their quality of art, or advertising impact, or both.

KEY by JOPEN is known as a fun collection of affordable pleasure products. The packaging boasts the bright, cheerful colors that have become identifiably KEY—raspberry, purple and robin egg blue. The copy is cute with sayings like: “Hello Gorgeous” and “Lift off in 3, 2, 1…” which gives the brand a cheeky and trendy identity. The top-opening boxes feature a satin hang tag so they are versatile at the retail level, meaning they can be placed on a shelf or hung from a hook.
