Race IT Awarded Marine Corps Marathon Contract
“The People’s Marathon” to utilize premier registration solutions platform beginning in 2014
RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Race IT, the race services division of Competitor Group, and the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) announced a multi-year agreement in which Race IT will provide registration services to facilitate online entries for the MCM, the third largest marathon in the United States and for the MCM Event Series, annually hosted April through November.

On Feb. 19, 2014, the Marine Corps Marathon and Race IT will begin registration for the 39th MCM as Active Duty members of the military will register for a limited number of entries. Lottery registration for the public will be conducted from Feb. 23, through March 15. Registration for the Marine Corps Historic Half opens on Jan. 29.
