Run or Dye Lets Participants Show their True Colors with the ‘Your City, Your Color, Your Vote’ Give Love® World Tour
Race series will feature five or more dye stations and a color voting system for participants
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Run or Dye, the world’s most colorful 5K, is giving its competition a run for their color with the launch of the 2014 Give Love® World Tour. With an extra blast of color, a feature promising ‘Your City, Your Color, Your Vote,’ and newly designed giveaway swag, Run or Dye is changing the face of color 5Ks in over 150 cities around the world.
Run or Dye is the first color 5K series to give participants access to at least five Dye Stations along the route. While each city is guaranteed five Dye Stations, there will be the option to “earn” even more stations based on the number of participants who turn out. Participants will also be able to choose the colors used during their city’s event through a new voting widget on the Run or Dye website. The increase in color options and the ability to paint a city in a custom rainbow of colors allows participants to make the race their own. The Give Love World Tour will also feature a newly launched international tour, a rebranded website, new logo and new giveaway merchandise for each runner.

The Give Love World Tour draws its inspiration from the ancient Hindu festival of Holi, also known as the “Festival of Colors.” During the Holi Festival, people gather, sing, dance, play, chase and color one another with powder to celebrate the triumph of good over bad, bridge social gaps and renew sweet relationships. In the same fashion the Give Love World Tour aims to encourage its participants to celebrate life, friendship, fitness and fun in full color.

The new race features will take effect beginning with the races scheduled on February 15th and continue for the rest of the 2014 tour.
