Executive Chef Carol Buckantz Brings New Meaning To Easter Holiday Brunch Buffet With Farm To Table Theme At Upscale Oak Brook Hills Resort – Chicago

CHICAGO, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Executive Chef Carol Buckantz and her team are preparing a very special Easter celebration in the Chicago area with a Farm to Table Easter Brunch Buffet at Oak Brook Hills Resort on Sunday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

What makes this culinary experience different is the collection of delicious recipes, and tastes with a Farm to Table theme. Among the featured items will be local farm raised leg of lamb, honey baked ham with local Raines Honey, array of side dishes, gourmet omelets, seafood, seasonal salads, local cheeses, and of course some decedent desserts.

Many of the meats served at Oak Brook Hills Resort’s special brunch will be from Three Maples Farm in nearby Oswego. Ropp Farm and Carr Valley Cheeses out of Illinois and Wisconsin will also be enjoyed, and the culinary team will also be using a variety of local farms for produce to accompany dishes like spring chicken, artichoke filled ravioli, the caprese and more.

Chef Carol is recognized nationally for her ability to deliver exquisite tastes and ability to work with local farmers and other resources for a delicious combination of menu items and tastes.

Easter Brunch was a tradition at Oak Brook Hills Resort for many years. Now under the culinary direction of Chef Carol, the team is bringing back these treasured holiday events including Easter, Mother’s Day and Thanksgiving Brunches.

Guests attending this year’s Easter celebration will be treated to more than 30 menu items, a special children’s buffet and even the Easter Bunny in the elegant setting of Windows Restaurant and the resort’s indoor Terrace seating. In celebration, adults will also receive a wonderful Strawberry Rhubarb Mimosa to toast the holiday.
