WASHINGTON, April 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — DDC Advocacy (DDCA), a leading international public affairs and issue advocacy firm, is the proud winner of four prestigious 2014 Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC). The Pollies are awarded annually to recognize the teams behind the year’s most powerful campaign communications products and are considered the political consultancy industry’s highest honor. “At DDC Advocacy, we work day-in and day-out to deliver advocacy campaigns that win,” said B.R. McConnon, DDCA’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “In all 50 states and in dozens of countries, we know how to help our clients succeed, how to make their messages resonate and how to move people to action. Our insights, innovation and ability to win are what set us apart in our industry–and the four Pollie Awards we received from the AAPC recognize the hard work and expertise of our teams.”

Touted as “the Oscars of political advertising,” by Esquire magazine, the Pollie Awards each year bring together campaign consultants from across the political spectrum to celebrate the teams and individuals who have raised the industry bar by producing the most creative, impactful and forward-thinking campaign communications on behalf of their candidates and causes. A blind jury of industry peers selects each year’s AAPC award winners from among thousands of entries.

DDCA’s work on behalf of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS® and the Nevada Association of REALTORS® earned three gold Pollie Awards, including one for this television ad. Its work for Michigan’s DTE Energy earned a silver Pollie in the Internet category for the Alliance for Michigan Power website. A full list of DDCA’s 2014 Pollie Awards is below:
