Raven Releases New Reporting Engine to Testing Phase
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Raven software has released the first version of its new reporting engine to an exclusive, international group of online marketers. Agencies from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany and a half-dozen other countries are testing the reporting engine now, offering crucial feedback before its wider release early this fall.
Raven’s new reporting engine helps agencies create elegant, interactive, mobile-friendly client reports in minutes. Marketers can craft a completely unique report, with hundreds of metrics available to add, rearrange and customize.
And testers have found more to love.
“I love the interactive feel and emphasis on visual appeal,” says marketer Lauren L. Perfors of Lawton Digital. She also mentioned its efficiency and real-time updates. “Make a change, client sees it on their shared link right away. Score!”
Zach Bowers of Tuna Traffic echoed that thought. “I love that my clients can sort through the data any way they see fit. I love that they can hover over certain points in a graph to get more perspective.”
Raven is using more specific feedback from testers to fine-tune the reporting engine before making it available to the public. It’s not just about squashing software bugs (though that’s important). The goal is to incorporate as many direct requests from real agencies as possible.
“We were an online marketing agency once. We know that month-end reporting is a frustrating time-suck,” said Jon Henshaw, Raven co-founder and chief product officer. “The automated reporting we already have is extremely popular with agencies. The new reporting engine builds on the best aspects of the old system, and adds entirely new features that agencies will find indispensable.”
The new reporting engine will integrate with more than a dozen marketing tools in Raven’s software platform. Subscribers will enjoy all-in-one monthly pricing for the complete tool set.
Other recent upgrades
This release comes shortly after Raven substantially improved and upgraded its Google Analytics reporting features. With a few clicks, marketers can drill down to the most relevant Google Analytics data for their clients and generate a report.
Raven customers can also now report on Google AdWords’ Shopping campaigns. AdWords plans to retire its Product Listings Ads campaigns in favor of Shopping campaigns on August 31, 2014.
