RR Donnelley Awarded Multi-Year Contract By News America Marketing
R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: RRD) announced today that it has been awarded a multi-year contract to produce 100% of News America Marketing’s SmartSource Magazine, a branded free standing insert. This increase from a 50% to a 100% supply position will occur at the end of the term of existing agreements. This contract also extends RR Donnelley’s existing agreements to provide 100% of the associated premedia and logistics services for this nationwide program.
News America Marketing is a division of News Corporation with over $1 billion in annual revenue. The company’s product portfolio, marketed under the SmartSource brand name, consists of the first branded free-standing insert, known as SmartSource Magazine® as well as various in-store marketing products, online promotions, custom publishing and merchandising services. These products and services allow marketers to deliver a brand message to over 200 million consumers each month via a network of 1,392 newspapers and 34,500 supermarket, drug and mass merchandisers’ locations across the country.
