First Look Hot for "Transsiberian"

First Look Studios is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Filmax Group's "Transsiberian" starring Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer, Kate Mara, Eduardo Noriega and Ben Kingsley, and directed by Brad Anderson. First Look will release the film theatrically within the United States release in late summer.
The film, written by Anderson and Will Conroy, follows an American couple, played by Harrelson and Mortimer, in a thrilling chase of deception and murder on the Trans-Siberian train journey from China to Moscow as they encounter a mysterious pair of fellow travelers, played by Mara and Noriega.
"Transsiberian" was produced by Julio Fernandez, President of Castelao Productions in co-production with Universum Films and Telecinco Cinema. The acquisition deal was structured during the Berlin EFM on behalf of First Look Studios by Gary Hirsch, executive vice president of acquisitions for First Look, and Christian Mercuri, president of International sales for Nu Image; and on behalf of Filmax Group by Carlos Fernandez, Carles Rojano and Vicente Canales of Filmax Group and Graham Taylor of Endeavor. The film was also represented by Cinetic.
