Music World Entertainment, Compadre Records and Trent Willmon Host CD Release Party, Monday, March 3, 2008

On Monday, March 3, 2008, Mathew Knowles' Music World Entertainment, Compadre Records and country music artist, Trent Willmon, will host a CD Release Party for Willmon's new CD, "Broken In." The party, which will be held at the Music World Campus, 1505 Hadley Street at the corner of LaBranch, will take place from 11:00AM to 1:00PM.
Trent Willmon, whose new album, "Broken In," released on Tuesday, February 26, will perform live at the party. Additionally, patrons will enjoy free Miller Light and a free BBQ lunch provided by sponsors HEB, Miller Light and LoneStarMusic.com. On site will also be a mechanical bull with rides offered at $5/per ride. All proceeds from the bull rides will go to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo(TM) Educational Fund.
In town to promote his new album and participate in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Trent Willmon can been seen on Wednesday, February 27th performing on Great Day Houston, on Thursday, February 28th at three Boot Town KILT remote broadcasts, performing live that evening in The Garden at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, Saturday, March 1st at three more Boot Town KILT remote broadcasts, performing that evening at the KILT/Budweiser tent at the World's Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, and finally Monday, March 3rd at the Music World CD Release Party followed that afternoon by a an acoustic performance at the Shoppa's booth in Reliant Center at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and that night at 10:15PM at The Hideout Stage in Reliant Astrodome. Willmon released his third studio album, "Broken In" (Compadre Records), on February 26, 2008; the title track is the lead single. His self-titled debut album gave country music listeners songs like "Beer Man,""Dixie Rose Deluxe's..." and "Home Sweet Holiday Inn" which was used in a national commercial for the hotel chain. His sophomore album, "A Little More Livin'," was released in June 2006 and the first song, "On Again Tonight," released to radio was a Top 25 single on Billboard's Country singles chart. Both albums were released on Columbia Nashville.
Willmon is the host of CMT's reality show "America's Top Cowboy" and released "The Beer Man Cookbook" in June of last year. He's been featured on CMT and GAC with features in Country Weekly, Western Horseman, American Cowboy and many others. Willmon is sponsored by Wrangler and is the spokesperson for Horses for Healing, a therapeutic riding center for special needs children.
