Heavenly Break for Tiger Lily

WITH their racy party girl behaviour, Peaches and Pixie Geldof are rarely out of the limelight.

And their public carousing has caused their father Bob plenty of sleepless nights.

Happily, things seem to be turning out differently for their younger sister Tiger Lily, the daughter of Geldof’s tragic former wife Paula Yates and the late Michael Hutchence.

For Tiger Lily, I can reveal, is on the verge of securing a leading role in a Hollywood film that could propel her to international stardom.

The budding actress is in the running to play the title role in Eloise, a film based on the Fifties children’s books by Kay Thompson which is being made by Handmade Films, the company founded by the late George Harrison.

After scouring schools and drama departments across Britain, America and Canada for the perfect child for the role, Handmade has placed Tiger Lily on a shortlist of ten. Hollywood star Uma Thurman has already been cast as the nanny.

‘Eloise has to be sassy, streetwise and extremely lovable although she has a naughty side,’ says a source at Handmade, which turned the book into a hugely successful TV film in 2003 starring Dame Julie Andrews.

Tiger Lily, 11, goes for her final, nail-biting audition next week. If she gets the part, she may have to dye her auburn hair blonde like her half-sister Peaches as Eloise is traditionally fair-haired.

Who knows, fashion-conscious Peaches, 18, and Pixie, 17, could well be called in to give Tiger Lily advice, for the film’s plot involves Eloise jetting off to fashion week in Paris, where she finds herself chasing after a stolen dress.

Geldof secured custody of Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily her full name following the death of her mother from a drug overdose and after Australian-born Hutchence was found dead in a hotel room in Sydney.

She has since lived with Geldof in Battersea with his longterm girlfriend, French actress Jeanne Marine.
