Hollywood actress Alison Lohman reportedly has signed on to take over Ellen Page’s role in Sam Raimi’s new supernatural thriller Drag Me to Hell.

Lohman has previously starred in Things We Lost in the Fire, Big Fish, Matchstick Men and White Oleander.

Page, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Juno, was forced to drop out of Hell due to scheduling conflicts. Page also recently signed on to star in the films Peacock and Whip It.

Drag Me to Hell is expected to start filming in Los Angeles March 31 — two weeks later than originally scheduled — with Lohman taking over Page’s part, Variety.com said Tuesday.

Raimi, best known for his three Spider-Man blockbusters, is directing Hell based on a script he wrote with his brother Ivan.
