Deadly Dexter Turns Up Heat on Ice Truck Killer

THIS wonderful drama about an "ethical" serial killer – he only takes out the bad guys – continues tonight with Dexter going after another murderer about to escape justice.
But it’s the Ice Truck Killer who has Miami PD on alert. The precise and incredible nature of the attacks appals everyone apart from Dex, who is merely enthralled at the level of skill and style used by his latest nemesis.
His sister makes a breakthrough in the case which could help her get out of the undercover vice work and into a trouser suit as a homicide detective.
Dex vow to help, even though he has his own mission as usual.
Surviving Suicide BBC One, 10.40pm (Ireland, 11.50pm)
IT’S just a couple of weeks before Sport Relief weekend and this is a moving and thought-provoking documentary about one of the good causes helped by the fantastic charity event.
The film meets those who have been affected by one of the 6000 suicides across the UK every year and tries to address the mental health issues which can lead to someone to take their own life.
All of these Comic and Sport Relief films are very well made and worth watching despite the grim subject matter.
Extraordinary People: The Fastest Man On No Legs Five, 9.00pm
THIS is an amazing look at the life of paralympian Oscar Pistorius, who had his legs amputated when he a baby yet is becoming one of the fastest athletes in the world.
Already a champion in disabled sports, he now wants to be allowed to run with able-bodied athletes.
As yet, the sport’s bosses believe his hi-tech artificial legs may give him an unfair advantage.
Rock Rivals ITV, 9.00pm
X FACTOR and Pop Idol get the satire treatment in this new drama series starring Michelle Collins and Sean Gallagher as Simon Cowell types fronting a reality talent show.
Judges and husband and wife creative duo Malcolm (Gallagher) and Karina Faith (Collins) are proud mentors to the contestants who have earned them a fortune.
But the couple split up on very unfriendly terms and a huge row erupts.
Although they continue to present the show, they battle it out to prove which one of them owns the rights to the programme.
Torchwood BBC Two, 9.00pm
THE alien fighters have to come together to help one of their own when cocky Owen Harper believes he needs absolution.
Will a girl on a rooftop help him, or will it be a mission to retrieve an alien device that is proving more lethal by the second? And how far will loved-up Toshiko go to help Owen?

A Painted House Five, 3.00pm
DRAMA chronicling the development of a youngster growing up in Fifties America, charting his relationships with the migrant workers on his family’s farm and revealing how a particularly tough season teaches him some hard lessons.
