Devine Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:DVNNF), seeking to capitalize on the burgeoning global demand for high quality film and television content, has taken another key step in its international sales strategy, announcing a new Polish-language DVD distribution agreement with leading Polish media company, AMERCOM SA of Warsaw, Poland.
AMERCOM SA is a respected force in Polish newspaper and magazine publishing, including educational publishing both in print and DVD formats.
The agreement is the latest sale under Devine's international distribution partnership with Carrere Group of France, following recently announced television distribution deals with broadcasters in Mexico and Hungary. By launching worldwide DVD sales, Devine will have the opportunity to further expand revenues for all distribution channels generated from its award-winning library of film and television titles.
The AMERCOM DVD agreement covers most of Devine's content library, including 19 of Devine Entertainment's critically acclaimed children's films and franchise titles. The library includes the film Beethoven Lives Upstairs, as well as the Company's successful franchise series, The Composers' Specials, The Inventors' Specials and The Artists' Specials.
"We're very excited to start the DVD revenue stream in our foreign sales operations," said David Devine, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We developed our distribution strategy to maximize revenues from all available channels, including DVD, digital and online technologies, television and others. Carrere continues to do an excellent job in growing our distribution worldwide and we anticipate opening more international markets in the months ahead."
Devine's library of film and television includes numerous titles aimed at the family and educational marketplace. Devine's multi-title franchises and other film titles include well-crafted tales about history's most important scientists, artists and composers. Devine Entertainment has been decorated with more than 120 entertainment industry awards, including Emmy Awards from the United States and Gemini Awards in Canada.
