Play Takes a New Look at Bible Tale

A NEW play looking at events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus is to receive its first performance at Earlsdon Methodist Church in Coventry on Good Friday, March 21.

Written by Roger Price, Trial has been produced by a group called Three In One Productions in association with the group Churches Together in Earlsdon and Chapelfields.

Mr Price’s play offers a contemporary take on the biblical story from a variety of viewpoints and challenges audiences to think who was actually on trial at the time.

The performance starts at 12.15pm and lasts about 45 minutes. Admission is free.
