'Bourne' Named Best Film at Empire Awards

The Bourne Ultimatum won the award for best film at the Empire magazine movie awards ceremony in London Sunday night.
The period romance Atonement was named best British film, while its stars James McAvoy and Keira Knightley were honored with best actor and actress prizes.
American Gangster won in the best thriller category, Hot Fuzz in the best comedy race, Control for best soundtrack, 28 Weeks Later for best horror and Stardust for best sci-fi/fantasy.
David Yates, who directed Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, won the award for best director; actor Ewan McGregor was named Empire Icon and filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro earned the Empire Inspiration Award.
Empire's film fans determined the winners by voting, the Times of London said.
