Centenary Tribute to Hollywood Legend
A TRIBUTE to the Hollywood star Bette Davis (right) is to be screened in Leamington to mark the centenary of her birth this year.
The Royal Cinema, at the Royal Spa Centre, is one of only 30 cinemas to be given the chance to show three of her glorious films.
The retrospective has been put together by TCM (Turner Classic Movies) and British Film Institute.
Showing on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, The Letter (1940), followed on Sunday, March 30, and Monday, March 31, by The Little Foxes (1941), and, finally, from Tuesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 3, there will be the chance to see TThhee OOlddMMaaidd ((11993399)).
Tickets are pounds 5, with concessions available. Fans can also take advantage of the offer of book two showings and get the third screening free.
