Peace Arch Entertainment Acquires Worldwide Distribution Rights to Award-Winning Feature Film "A Lobster Tale"

Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX: PAE) (TSX: PAE), an integrated global entertainment company, announced today that it has acquired worldwide distribution rights to the award-winning feature film "A Lobster Tale," and will launch the title's international marketing campaign at the MIP-TV conference in April.

The company has already concluded sales of the picture in several international territories, including Australia and Brazil. The film will have its North American DVD premiere this summer through Peace Arch Home Entertainment.

"A Lobster Tale" received nods for Best Picture at the 2007 Omaha Film Festival, as well as Best Screenplay and the coveted Audience Favorite awards at the 2007 Phoenix Film Festival.

Directed by Adam Massey, "A Lobster Tale" is a feel-good film about a struggling lobster fisherman whose life is turned upside down when he discovers a strange moss with magical healing powers.

Colm Meaney ("The Commitments,""Layer Cake") stars as Cody Brewer, a down-on-his-luck lobsterman in a small Maine fishing village who inadvertently discovers the mysterious sea moss in one of his traps. Tension in the already fragile Brewer family erupts when the true supernatural quality of the moss is revealed and becomes sought after by everybody in town.

Academy Award-nominated actor Graham Greene ("Dances with Wolves,""The Green Mile") lends humor to his role as the laid-back town sheriff. Alberta Watson ("24,""Away From Her") stars as Cody Brewer's wife, who tries everything to spark a flame of romance in her husband as she juggles motherhood and a job as a waitress.

Jack Knight shines as their young son, Jake, whose struggles at home and school are only amplified by this miraculous discovery.
