‘Rosemary’s Baby’ Set for Re-Make
March 12, 2008
Hollywood reportedly is planning a remake of Roman Polanski’s classic 1968 horror film Rosemary’s Baby, which was based on Ira Levin’s best-selling novel.
Paramount is in negotiations with the horror production company Platinum Dunes to reinvent the film, with Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller set to produce, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.
The creepy tale is about a young woman whose husband allows her to be impregnated by the devil in exchange for a successful career, the trade newspaper noted.
Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes and Ruth Gordon co-starred in the original film.
