Amazing Grace Inspires Shearer’s Cycle Mission

FORMER England football captain Alan Shearer will cycle 335 miles for Sport Relief after he met mum-of-five and AIDS victim Grace.
In his diary of a trip to Uganda, released yesterday, the Newcastle United legend said: “What I was taken to see feels so removed from life at home.
“But it couldn’t be more real to the people involved – every loved one lost, every dying child, every day that survival is the one and only objective.”
Today, Shearer sets off from Newcastle. He hopes to join the Sport Relief show in London tomorrow night.
