Broadway May Be in Holmes’ Future
Katie Holmes is in negotiations for her first stage role on New York’s Broadway, a representative for the movie and TV actress said.
People.com, citing the Daily Mail, reported Saturday Holmes, known for her roles in films like Batman Begins and First Daughter, will make her Broadway debut in a production of playwright Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.
However, a representative for Holmes, who is married to film star Tom Cruise, would only confirm the Dawson’s Creek actress is in discussions with officials on the production.
Sons is an emotional drama about a family’s struggles following World War II.
People.com said Holmes would play the lover of a missing pilot if negotiations go well and the actress would be performing six nights a week during the play’s run.
