Rita Moreno, Bill Pullman to Attend Film Festival in Rochester
The Rochester High Falls International Film Festival (RHFIFF) announced that actors Rita Moreno and Bill Pullman, among many others in the film industry, will be featured at this years’s Film Festival, slated from April 30 to May 5 at various venues around Rochester, according to a recent release.
“Each year we strive to bring the best quality films, artists and directors to Rochester, and we feel confident that our guests will enjoy what we have lined up for them,” Catherine Wyler, RHFIFF’s artistic director said. “We’re delighted to have such remarkable, talented actors like Bill and Rita as our prominent guests this year.”
The Festival’s mission is to feature exceptional work of women in all areas of film, video and new media, highlighting Rochester’s standing as the home of motion picture film and the women’s rights movement. This year RHFIFF will present some 90 features, documentaries, shorts, children’s and young adult programs, student filmmaking competitions, panel discussions, master classes and informal “coffee with” events featuring visiting filmmakers and stars of short films, independent films and children’s programs.
