Univision Announces Appointment of Sebastian Trujillo to Senior Vice President & Operating Manager, Galavision Network

Univision Communications Inc., the leading Spanish-language media company in the United States, today announced the appointment of Sebastian Trujillo to the position of senior vice president and operating manager for the Galavisión Network, effective June 2, 2008. In this position, Trujillo will oversee programming, operations and production for the network. He will report to Joanne Lynch, senior vice president and general manager of Galavisión.

Galavisión, the #1 Spanish-language cable network in the country, remains the leader among all Spanish-language cable networks on distribution reaching more than 52 million U.S. homes, of which eight million are Hispanic. The network recently posted its highest 1st Quarter ever, besting broadcast network Azteca America and all Spanish-language cable networks in the process.

Trujillo joined Univision in 1995 as regional sales representative for the southeast region. He has had multiple roles in the company and currently serves as vice president of network sales for the Southeast region. In this capacity he managed advertising partnerships across all three networks, Univision, TeleFutura and Galavisión. This allowed him to garner extensive experience with programming and work with advertisers on marketing solutions across all Company assets. He is a graduate of the University of Miami, School of Business and lives in Miami, Florida with his wife and two children.
