Morgan Creek Productions Enters Into a First-Look Deal With Program Pictures

LOS ANGELES, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Morgan Creek Productions has entered into a first-look deal with the newly formed Program Pictures. The announcement was made jointly by David Robinson, Senior Vice President of Production at Morgan Creek, and LT Hutton, CEO of Program Pictures.
Program Pictures was founded by multi-platinum music producer LT Hutton. The company is dedicated to producing high-quality urban mainstream entertainment, including feature films and television programming.
"Expanding into the motion picture business was a natural transition for me since many of the artists I've worked with already have, or are about to make, the same transition," said Hutton. "Being able to identify that next artist who can make the jump from music to film is going to give us the creative edge we need." Hutton has been involved in the creative process for such high profile artists as P Diddy, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Mariah Carey, Bow Wow, Omarion, and Ashanti.
Hutton added, "I've known (Morgan Creek Chairman/CEO) Jim Robinson for close to ten years, so when I made the decision to form Program Pictures, he was the first person I called."
