“Dividing the Estate,” Horton Foote’s delightful domestic comedy about one family’s battle over an inheritance, was one of off- Broadway’s best productions in 2007.
Now the play, set in a Gulf Coast Texas town, is heading to Broadway, courtesy of Lincoln Center Theater, which will reopen it Nov. 20 at a theater to be announced. Preview performances begin Oct. 23.
The play, seen last fall at Primary Stages, featured a cast that included Elizabeth Ashley, Arthur French, Hallie Foote, Penny Fuller and Gerald McRaney. The director is Michael Wilson. All will make the journey to Broadway.
