Posted on: Wednesday, 21 May 2008, 09:00 CDT

UOMO Media Inc. (UOMO.OB), a multi-channel entertainment and media company, is pleased to announce the single "Colourblind" co-written by multi-platinum writer and producer Chris Perry is the "One Million Star" winner's first single to be released.

"UOMO is aggressively pursuing the growing revenue opportunities in Asia," said Mr. Camara Alford, CEO and Chairman of UOMO Media Inc. "Our international business model combined with our award winning hit record production teams position us for great opportunities throughout Asia Pacific, especially in the growing market of Chinese popular music."

"One Million Star" is a hit singing competition television program in Taiwan. Similar to the format of the Idol brand, six finalists are graded on their performance each week and the one who excels wins the grand prize of one million NT dollars and a recording contract. Chris Perry is a hit songwriter and producer exclusively signed to UOMO Media and wrote "Colourblind" for the Season Three winner of "One Million Star". In May 2008, Chris joined UOMO Media and was added to a growing roster of hit producers who have worked with artists such as Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, and Miley Cyrus.

As in most other Asian markets, Taiwan's pop music scene is a part of mainstream culture and is heavily influenced by western pop music. Most of today's Chinese popular music (C-Pop) artists originate from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mainland China.
