St. Croix Film Society to Show ‘Lonestar’

CALAIS – The St. Croix River Valley Arts Council’s film society is screening “Lonestar” at 7 p.m. Friday, May 23, at the Holmestead, 527 Main St. This 1996 mystery drama was written and directed by John Sayles and stars Elizabeth Pena, Chris Cooper and Kris Kristofferson. The public is welcome. There is no admission charge. Donations are suggested.
