Jamie Lynn Spears Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Teen television actress Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl at a Mississippi hospital Thursday morning, a source told People.com.
Spears, the 17-year-old star of Zoey 101, and her fiance Casey Aldridge have named the child Maddie Briann.
Just the family was there, an insider told People.com, adding the baby was delivered at around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital near Spears's hometown of Kentwood, La. Everyone is healthy and happy.
Spears's pop star sister Britney took an early morning commercial flight from Los Angeles Wednesday with their father, Jamie, and their brother, Bryan, so the family could be together to welcome the new arrival, the entertainment news Web site said.
