Fearless Freddie Dies at 65
TOP Scots bookie “Fearless” Freddie Williams has died of a heart attack aged 65 at his Ayrshire home.
The maverick racing legend earned his nick name accepting huge cash bets the big chains wouldn’t touch.
Last night, friends lined up to pay tribute to the millionaire Scot, whose trackside wager wars with Irish super-punter JP McManus made racing history.
TV pundit John McCririck said: “It’s the end of an era.”
