Two films were being shot Monday in and around government offices in Santa Fe. Part of Galisteo Street was closed in the morning for filming of a scene at the Bataan Building for Sex and Lies in Sin City, shown here. The television movie, which will be shown in September on the Lifetime network, stars Matthew Modine and Mena Suvari. The film is a thriller based on a true story of the death of Ted Binion, a Las Vegas casino heir, and the ensuing trial of his lover and her con-man boyfriend.

Meanwhile at the Capitol, a crew was busy shooting a scene in a third-floor meeting room for Run for Her Life, a political thriller starring Dermot Mulroney and Diane Kruger. The film is about a district attorney who takes dramatic steps to save his daughter, who needs a lung transplant. At right, a sign points actors and crew to the set at the Capitol.
