eWorld Companies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EWRC) has officially launched its new subsidiary eWorld Productions, Inc. with a premiere red carpet event in Los Angeles. The two-day event featured celebrity guests, live entertainment, red carpet interviews, presentations and panels with entertainment industry experts, and a spectacular technology showcase highlighting eWorld's video streaming technology and patent-pending delivery systems. eWorld's CEO Henning Morales also used this event to describe how eWorld's unique global distribution system will deliver music, movies and television entertainment worldwide via the Internet, while paying independent film makers, musicians and other providers a significant share of ad revenues.
The eWorld Productions division will be responsible for securing and selecting content from outside providers, and for coordinating all in-house production of our exclusive eWorld content. Rob Fenton, President of eWorld Productions, Inc, explained, "The key factor driving the entertainment industry today is the convergence of movies, music, television and other streaming content with digital online delivery systems. Boomerang Media Station(R) and PlayTV(R) broadcast network provide the highest quality and most user-friendly online delivery platforms available, and we intend to use them to provide a wide range of entertainment - both new and existing content from outside providers as well as original and exclusive programming created by our own production teams." Mr. Morales added, "This year's launches eWorld Entertainment and eWorld Music, along with our participation at the Marbella and Cannes Film Festivals, have resulted in us receiving countless requests from film and music producers worldwide who are eager to showcase their wares on our global platform. We are also busy creating our own exclusive content and have already released our first exclusive webisode series 'Police Investigation Squad: P.I.S.' We will be adding thousands of hours of programming to our Boomerang Media Station over the next few months."
