‘Viva’ is No. 1 on U.S. Album Chart

Coldplay’s Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard.com said Wednesday.
Coming in at No. 2 on The Billboard 200 is Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III, last week’s chart-topper, followed by the soundtrack to the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock, featuring the Jonas Brothers at No. 3, the compilation CD Now 28 at No. 4 and Plies’ Definition of Real at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are Usher’s Here I Stand at No. 6, Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad at No. 7, Disturbed’s Indestructible at No. 8, Katy Perry’s One of the Boys at No. 9 and Offspring’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace at No. 10.
