Clifton Production Services and Birns & Sawyer Go RED With New Partnership

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Clifton Production Services LLC (CPS), one of the few post-houses in the country to own multiple RED ONE digital cinema cameras, announced today a strategic partnership with Birns & Sawyer Inc., one of Hollywood's premiere rental houses, that will provide filmmakers with a one-stop-shop for all things RED and will offer access to the latest digital cinema technology to a new generation of filmmakers.
The RED ONE is a digital cinema camera unrivaled in performance and cost. It's capable of recording at resolutions up to 4K directly to flash or hard disk based digital storage. It features a Super 35-sized sensor and is compatible with industry standard PL lenses. Top industry insiders including Director Steven Soderbergh (Guerrilla, The Argentine) and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) have recently shot with RED ONE. Soderbergh recently stated that "this is the camera I've been waiting for my whole career. RED is going to change everything."
CPS demystifies RED postproduction and completes the puzzle of RED workflows by allowing filmmakers to create highly polished results faster, easier and at lower cost. CPS has conducted extensive testing with RED footage and has established rock-solid workflow practices, both on-set and in post-production to provide clients a trouble-free RED experience.
Through the partnership, filmmakers will be able to hire the RED through Birns & Sawyer and take advantage of the full quality of service that only an experienced rental house can provide.
