Festival Aims to Be Top Booking

Coleford Festival of Words aims to get the Forest of Dean its own literary feast.

Soundwork Community Arts, The Forest Bookshop and county library service are working together to run a small festival around the love of words and books.

It will run from tomorrow to Saturday in and around Coleford.

International and local writers will feature, including Katie Fforde (pictured, above), Lesley Pearse and David Pownall.

There will also be children’s workshops with Coleford author Shoo Rayner and illustrator Nick Harris, storytelling, a Sons and Dads Rap session and an exotic tea ceremony.
