West Side Story at the Forum

A performance of West Side Story takes place at the Forum, Bath on Saturday night at 8pm.

Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and packed with unforgettable songs including Maria, Tonight, America and I Feel Pretty. West Side Story has been described as “a masterpiece of musical theatre” and a “a musical landmark”.

The movie version went on to win an incredible 10 Oscars including best picture which further cemented the reputation of this work.

Now in 2008, 50 years after the show made its London debut, emerging director Paul Taylor-Mills brings his award-winning production to The Forum for one night only after critical acclaim earlier this year.
