Framework Gallery exhibits The Fine Works of Philip Markham (pictured above right). It runs until July 13 and includes the coast’s artist’s signature miniature landscapes. 20 Seaview Rd, Paraparaumu Beach. Open weekdays 10am-5pm, Saturday 10am-3pm.
Coasters Musical Theatre and Trust Porirua City Brass want you to dig out your red, white and blue for Last Night of the Proms, Southward Theatre, Otaihanga, 2pm and 7.30pm, Saturday, July 26. Tickets from Coastlands Customer Service Desk, $19/$17.
It’s Casino Night at Te Horo Community Hall tonight starting 7.30pm. Tickets $15; phone (06) 364 6134. This is a fundraiser for Te Horo School and organisers say it’s a fun way to see a small community in action.
On July 13 Waikanae Music Society presents one of New Zealand’s rising musical stars- pianist John Chen.
