‘Fame’ Takes Centre Stage

July 6, 2008

Popular musical Fame is coming to Hanley’s Regent Theatre this month.

The amateur production, brought to the venue by At The Theatre (ATT) Productions, follows star-struck pupils through triumph, heartache and romance at New York’s High School for the Performing Arts.

The show sets the stage alight with wondrous melodies and complex dance routines.

ATT Productions is certain this show will have the audience singing and dancing all the way home.

Marketing director Rob Stanway said: “We’ve brought young people, ex-professionals and future professionals together.”

It will run at The Regent from Tuesday, July 15 to Saturday, July 19. Shows start at 7.30pm each day, with a 2.30pm show on the Saturday.

All tickets are priced pounds12.
