Bahrain Air to Take Delivery of Digital Entertainment System Equipped A320

Bahrain Air has announced that it will be taking delivery of a new Airbus A320 aircraft in April 2009, which will be equipped with a new digital in-flight entertainment system offering passengers choice and control over their in-flight entertainment choices.

The airline said that the delivery of the new generation A320 will be delivered to Bahrain Air directly from the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France, and it will be the first aircraft of its type to join its fleet.

Abdul Albastaki, Bahrain Air’s senior manager technical, said: “The digital system incorporates more intuitive navigation through movies, music, information and short feature programming plus new features designed to make passengers’ entertainment experience more pleasurable.”
