Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, today announced dates and locations for programming two shows through The Hot Ticket by Sony Pictures Releasing. Regal's innovative programming announcement is the first by a movie exhibitor to schedule the inaugural slate of high profile events with The Hot Ticket.

A total of 129 Regal locations will feature "Delirium" from Cirque du Soleil beginning Wednesday August 20. Then starting Wednesday September 24 Regal will offer The Hot Ticket presentation of "Rent" on Broadway including special closing night extras from its final performance in New York's famed theatre district. The Hot Ticket will be available for 7PM shows on Wednesday and Thursday nights followed by Noon shows on the following Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for "Delirium" go on sale Friday July 11 at a cost of $20 each.

"Regal Entertainment Group is able to provide access to these sold-out shows in the comfort and convenience of your local movie theatre utilizing state-of-the-art digital projection and surround sound. The Hot Ticket offers a memorable one-of-a-kind entertainment experience," stated Greg Dunn, President and Chief Operating Officer for Regal Entertainment Group. "Regal moviegoers can enjoy these performances with other fans who share their passion without traveling the world to do so."

"Having Regal Entertainment Group on board is a great launch for Hot Ticket. Regal is always on the cutting edge of exploring new and innovative endeavors. We truly value our partnership," stated Rory Bruer, President of Sony Pictures Releasing.

Beginning August 20th at 129 Regal Entertainment Group theatres, The Hot Ticket will bring audiences the groundbreaking live music and dance extravaganza "Delirium," from Cirque du Soleil. Inspired by some of the most memorable musical moments of Cirque du Soleil, "Delirium" remixes Cirque music and adds lyrics. The show, which features musicians, dancers, singers, and acrobatics, transports audiences into a unique, mystical universe, driven by percussive-driven pop, melodious ballads and world beat-inspired rhythms. The presentation will be the final staging of "Delirium" as it closes its multi year, worldwide tour at London's O2 Arena.

Opening September 24th at selected Regal locations, The Hot Ticket will take audiences to the heart of New York City to celebrate the conclusion of the 12-year Broadway run of "Rent," the revolutionary, landmark musical. This memorable presentation will feature special closing night extras, when original cast members of the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical are expected to join and celebrate in the farewell festivities. The presentation is produced by the Academy Award(R)-winning producers @radical.media.
