TV Vet Joe Returns to His Roots
Celebrity Vet Joe Inglis is set to take a trip down memory lane when Vets in Practice returns to TV screens next week.
The star vet (pictured), whose career started on the show, will catch up feature in a week of one-off shows called Return to Vets in Practice.
Ten years on, viewers will see where the vets are now.
Joe, who lives in Bibury, said it had been an emotional experience.
He added: “It has been interesting to see where everyone ended up because we lost touch. It was difficult to look back over the 10 years and see everything that has happened.”
Joe first appeared on the show in 1997, fresh from veterinary school, and over the 110 episodes he became a household name. He appeared on Blue Peter and BBC’s One Show.
Joe, 35, who writes a column for the Echo’s Weekend magazine, has also started his own pet food business and written four books on pet care.
The series starts today and will be shown every night apart from Wednesday.
It follows Joe venturing into the Apprentice-style business world to pitch his pet food.
