Time Travel Wish for Star

DOCTOR Who star David Tennant was left wishing he could really travel back in time after an embarrassing tape of an early audition turned up.
The 15-year-old tape shows Tennant, from Bathgate, auditioning for a part in BBC comedy drama Takin’ Over The Asylum, wearing a baggy purple sweater and sporting swept-back hair.
Despite his embarrassment, Tennant agreed to allow the footage to be used on a new DVD of the series.
