Organisers Hoping for Clear Skies

Theatre lovers are being invited to soak up the atmosphere at the open air amphitheatre at Dean Close School.

There is an exciting programme for the theatre festival at Tuckwell Amphitheatre, which starts on Tuesday.

Now in its fifth year, the family festival is renowned for its sell-out performances, and organisers are hoping this year will be no different.

Opening this year’s festival is an evening of cool music with Jazz on a Summer’s Evening, there will also be a staging of a Midsummer Night’s Dream by Heartbreak Productions.

Audiences can also be entertained by performances of Sleeping Beauty and a showing of the Greek legend, Jason by the Miracle Theatre.

The festival finishes on August 1 and there are organisers are hoping the weather will remain kind for the duration.
