Kenny Loggins to Perform Benefit at Calvert Marine Museum for Cove Point Lighthouse

SOLOMONS, Md., July 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Enjoy an evening of great music, legendary hits, and a beautiful waterfront setting, when Grammy award winner Kenny Loggins appears at the Calvert Marine Museum Thursday, July 24 with special guest, singer/ songwriter Edwin McCain.

Cumberland and Erly, LLC, and Prince Frederick Chrysler/Jeep/ Dodge are proud to bring these two music sensations to Solomons for their 2008 benefit concert series. Proceeds from this show will go to support the repairs and renovation efforts of the Cove Point Lighthouse Keepers home. Loggins, known for hits like This Is It, Dannys Song, Meet Me Halfway, and movie theme songs from Footloose, Top Gunand Caddyshack, along with many other hits, will have you singing out loud all night long. From his start in Loggins & Messina, to his solo days in the 80s and 90s, his hits are numerous and classic.

Following Loggins 90-minute set, ticketholders will also get a special 60-minute performance from Edwin McCain. McCain, an engaging performer and wonderful storyteller is best known for love songs like Ill Beand I Could Not Ask For More.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m.; show time is 7:30 p.m. Food and drink vendors will be available on the grounds. No coolers or chairs permitted.
