Cooper, Helms Ready for a ‘Hangover’
Actors Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms are in final negotiations to star in the upcoming Hollywood comedy, Hangover, industry media reported.
The Hollywood Reporter said Friday Cooper and Helms will play part of a trio of good friends who lose a groom during a wild bachelor party in Las Vegas.
The Todd Phillips-directed project has yet to round out the trio with a third actor, but preproduction on the film has already begun.
The film, which is being produced by Phillips’ Green Hat Films company and Legendary Pictures, will mark the first lead film feature for Helms.
The Daily Show correspondent has had a regular role in the TV comedy The Office, but has only enjoyed smaller roles in films like Meet Dave and The Goods: The Don Ready Story.
The Reporter said Cooper is ready to appear on screen alongside Jennifer Aniston in the comedy He’s Just Not that Into You and the upcoming horror film Case 39.
