Boogie Nights for Girls

SIX toe-tapping girls from Coventry will be putting on their dancing shoes this summer after beating hundreds of hopefuls to a place in a new musical.

The talented team from Jo Jangles Dance School will be putting their moves under the spotlight next month at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham after passing a gruelling audition for roles in a new production of Boogie Nights.

The six girls will spend much of next month rehearsing for the show and will appear in the week starting Monday, August 25.

Dance teacher Jo Walker said: "I am so proud of them.

They were up against around 800 dancers and to win a place in the show is fantastic.

"They are very excited about appearing on the stage in Birmingham, but they know it will be a lot of hard work."
