Festival Shows City’s Respect for Worldwide Music
World music drew thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds to the Exeter Phoenix arts centre for a series of performances and workshops.
The weekend events were the culmination of the annual Exeter Respect Festival, which is staged at the venue every year.
Festival co-ordinator Paul Giblin said: "It was fantastic. One of the most popular performers was an African acrobat called Fabulous Jambo Jambo."
There was also a world music night on Saturday while all day yesterday the theme was rock.
