Target Family Festival

Jul. 18–WHAT: From Footloose to Hairspray, from comedy to cartoons to puppets, there’s something for nearly everybody in the family at the Target Family Festival, a now-annual event in Loch Haven Park aimed at moms, dads and kids. Theater is the main focus, with productions of Footloose, The Great Alphabet Adventure and Laughing Pizza. (That’s Alex Ferguson and April Sullivan above as Ren and Ariel in Footloose.) There’s also a free screening of the movie version of Hairspray Saturday night, and there will be music, dance, science and art, with shows and hands-on activities spread around the park.

WHERE: Orlando Repertory Theatre and elsewhere in Loch Haven Park, 1001 E. Princeton St., Orlando.
