‘Life,’ ‘Enemy’ Get Prime Fall Time Slots
NBC said it has adjusted its U.S. prime time premiere fall schedule and used strong time periods to bring back Life and introduce My Own Worst Enemy.
The network said Life will get four hours of originals in its first two weeks on Mondays and Fridays beginning Sept. 29, while My Own Worst Enemy is to follow Heroes Oct. 13, giving the show a prominent launch after a hit series and allowing the new drama to broadcast all original episodes in its regular time slot, which is Mondays, from 10-11 p.m. ET, through December.
Life is to follow Heroes on two special Monday broadcasts in addition to its regularly scheduled time slot on Fridays from 10-11 p.m. ET.
In other scheduling changes, the new comedy Kath & Kim and 30 Rock are to switch time periods Thursday nights. Kath & Kim moves to 8:30-9 p.m. ET starting Oct. 9 after My Name is Earl, which will allow for a strong audience flow for these two compatible shows, NBC said.
30 Rock will then settle into the 9:30-10 p.m. ET slot, starting with its season premiere after The Office Oct. 30.
