National Lampoon, Inc. (AMEX:NLN), the most widely recognized brand in comedy, today announced an expanded relationship with comedy production company Flim Flam Films, the brainchild of New Orleans natives Alan Donnes and Jerry Daigle. National Lampoon has agreed to distribute three new Flim Flam pictures over the next 12-18 months, in addition to the previously announced “National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie” starring Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU), Robert Klein (The Stones) and Mario Cantone (Sex and the City), which Flim Flam recently wrapped production.

The first of the three films under the new agreement will be Flim Flam’s previously announced project “Snatched” – the story of a man who suffers an unfortunate but hilarious mishap during surgery. Alan Donnes, who wrote and produced “National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie,” will pen the script and will reteam with Jerry Daigle as producer.

“We are thrilled to cement our partnership with Flim Flam Films, particularly since we already view them as part of the National Lampoon family,” stated Daniel Laikin, National Lampoon Chief Executive Officer. “Alan has a long history with National Lampoon as producer of the National Lampoon Radio Hour. The combination of Alan’s sense of humor, coupled with Jerry’s experience as a film producer, will help create some great product. We fully expect Flim Flam to continue generating the kind of cutting edge comedy for which National Lampoon is famous,” Laikin said.

“I feel really great about this partnership and look forward to making some great films together. National Lampoon gave me a shot with the Radio Hour and I’m so happy to have a home here. I’ve been a devoted fan of National Lampoon as far back as I can remember,” stated Alan Donnes. “And even better, now I don’t have to pay for any of their DVDs. Seriously, there’s no better place for a Flim Flam Film than National Lampoon,” Donnes continued.

“This relationship is exactly what we look for as we have aggressively grown our National Lampoon library over the past 18 months. This will give us a constant and consistent flow of quality film projects along with the associated revenue stream,” commented Tom Daniels, National Lampoon head of distribution. “We are always on the lookout for fun, exciting projects to fill our pipeline as we have greatly expanded our domestic and international film distribution channels.”
